How do you prevent fraud on your website?

Before an order is confirmed, we check if the card used is registered to the billing address provided, and check the 3 digit security code provided matches the card. After an order is placed, we use a third party fraud screening provider to check the details of the order against known fraudulent orders placed on mothercare.com or other websites. If it is likely that the order is fraudulent, we will contact the customer to resolve the matter.
