Phil & Teds Sport V2 and Classic V1 Safety Notice 20th Jan 2011
We would like to make our customers aware that Phil & Teds have issued a safety notice on the above product
Worldwide Phil & Teds have received a small number of reports of adult users catching a finger in the main hinge causing injury. As a result Phil&Teds have made a free self-fit hinge cover kit available to all sport V2 and classic V1 owners. This consists of a simple plastic cover that can be slotted into place in an affected buggy's hinge, preventing fingers being inadvertently placed in the hinge when a user is folding the buggy. The covers do not affect the performance or overall look of the buggy, other than to further prevent access to the hinge.
To check if your product is affected
· The sport v2 and classic v1 were manufactured between April 2008 and June 2010.
· Affected serial numbers (located on the inner face of the main hinge, underneath the seat):
· Sport V2 affected serial numbers - 0308/0001 to 0510/0840
· Classic V1 affected serial numbers - 0308/0001 to 0510/0906
· The strollers have the codes „SPv2‟ (sport v2) or „E3C‟ (classic v1) printed on the wrist safety strap attached to the stroller handle.

As a precaution we urge customers to immediately obtain and fit the free hinge cover.
