Summer Infant is issuing a voluntary recall in the US in connection with video and audio monitors with electric cords. Customers with these products are asked to contact Summer Infant who will provide labels and instructions advising to install them out of reach of babies and young children.
Summer Infant are offering the following advice regarding these products:
Customers should ensure that the cords are out of the reach of children. Never place cameras or cords within 3 feet of the crib. Customers are recommended to refer to the additional safe installation guide and warning label available free of charge from the Summer Infant web site or Summer Infant customer service

Summer Infant baby Monitors – batteries only
Summer Infant is also issuing a voluntary recall notice in the US affecting some baby monitors due to batteries overheating and rupturing. (Model numbers affected are Silver/white 02800 and pink/white 02805)
We can confirm that no products sold outside the US are affected.
