What are the terms and conditions relating to a Baby Plan?

The terms and conditions of Baby Plan are as follows:

  1. Initial purchase value must exceed £100.
  2. 10% minimum deposit is required (refundable less administration charge).
  3. £10.00 administration charge will be added to your account (Non refundable). This charge will be waived if payment is received in full within 28 days of the account being opened.
  4. Only selected lines are available on Baby Plan. Subsequent purchases from the Baby Plan range may be added during the term of the plan. Should you make an addition to your plan you will be required to bring the deposit paid up to 10% of the new value.
  5. Payments can be made at any time, however payments must be completed within 6 months of the account being opened. Payments made after the due date of the plan, and after 6 months can be made, but we cannot guarantee stock availability or offer a named day for delivery.
  6. Payments can be made at any store in the UK including Jersey.
  7. Goods will be delivered on your selected date, excluding weekends and bank holidays. Should you need to change your delivery address or date please give us at least 10 days notice. Please note that address changes can only be done at a Mothercare store.
  8. Accounts must be paid in full 10 days before the delivery date. The Baby Plan account must be opened for a minimum of 28 days from the date of opening the account before delivery can be made.
  9. Where you have added items after taking out the initial plan we will be unable to deliver the added item until it has been on the account for a minimum of 28 days.
  10. If under any circumstances beyond our control we are unable to supply your original items ordered, Mothercare reserve the right to substitute suitable alternative products of equal specification and value. If this is not acceptable you may cancel the Babyplan and receive a full refund, including the £10.00 administration charge.
  11. Where your Baby Plan consists of more than one box, deliveries may arrive separately.
  12. Joining the Baby Plan does not affect your statutory rights.
  13. Certain postcodes have restrictions meaning that your order will take either an extra one to two working days to be delivered. Please click here for a full list of postcode restrictions. If you are in an area with restrictions, please speak to your local store when arranging the delivery date to ensure you receive it on the day that you want it delivered.
  14. Deliveries are made between 8am and 8pm. We are not able to specify an exact time the delivery will be.
